Northeast winds will build today and reach speeds of 15-30 mph with gusts to 50 mph. Some areas could see even stronger winds. Be prepared for debris on roadways and the possibility of power outages.

East shore surf will grow as the winds pick up and could reach advisory levels Thursday.

Gale Warning in effect at noon today for the Pailolo and Alenuihaha channels, Maalaea Bay, along with coastal waters south and west of the Island of Hawaii.
