MILILANI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu firefighters are still investigating what caused a massive blaze to rip through a Mililani townhome Monday night.
Crews responded to the three-alarm fire at the Kaholo Hale Townhomes on Kaholo street around 7 p.m.
Flames heavily damaged the first and second story of the two-story structure. HFD officials say neighboring units were spared as they prevented the raging flames from spreading. The nearby units had minimal damage.
The fire was fully extinguished just after 8:30 p.m.
Some 13 units staffed with 35 HFD personnel responded to the call.
No one was home at the time the flames broke out. No injuries were reported.
Fire officials are investigating. The American Red Cross is assisting those who were displaced.
