Trump administration appoints interim U.S. Attorney for Hawaii

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Wednesday appointed Kenji Price, a Honolulu lawyer and former U.S. Army Ranger, to serve as the state's interim U.S. Attorney. 

Price is from the islands and currently serves as the director of Alston, Hunt, Floyd & Ing, a large law firm in Honolulu. He previously worked as an assistant U.S. Attorney in New York, where he tackled organized crime, public corruption and international drug trafficking cases.

According to the firm's website, Price is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and served as Editor-in-Chief of the school's law review.
