Business Report: The new minimum wage across America

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Fewer than 2 million are tipped employees making less than minimum wage, plus tips. There about 700,000 untipped workers making minimum wage. The five states with the most are Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and South Carolina. Not one of them has a wage hike kicking in this week. For a full-time worker, the new Hawaii minimum wage works out to a raise of $34 a week.
