Honolulu police say a pursuit of a stolen vehicle ended in a deadly crash on Vineyard Blvd. early Saturday.

Police say a Honda CRV was reported stolen around 12:30 a.m. from a Manoa residence.

Officers saw the CRV at Dole Street and University Avenue.

Police say the suspect got on the H-1 Freeway at the University on-ramp. Officers turned on their lights and sirens, but the suspect did not stop, and police began a pursuit.
