For what's trending today, Howard Dicus presented some background for Alabama senate candidate Roy Moore. The Alabama Senate race results were certified yesterday. Roy Moore tried to block it in state court, but the judge quickly dismissed it. Moore claimed fraud but the Republican election chief said there wasn't any. Moore never conceded, despite a call from President Trump to do so. But that's nothing new. Moore ran for governor in 2006 and lost and never conceded. He ran again in 2010 and lost and never conceded. If he wants to run for governor again, the deadline to enter is February 9.
Dan Cooke shared a sweet video that has been seen more than 9 million times since Christmas Day. It was posted by a guy named Jeff who said, "My parents were married for more than 20 years, divorced, fought a lot, went to work on themselves. Years later, they start dating and as of yesterday, this happened." IN the video, you see his mom opening up a framed poem in which his dad asks her to marry him. She said, "yes!". Jeff's post went on to say, "Congrats Mom and Dad! True love always finds its way back around."
Grace Lee tells us about Jermaine Thompson who reportedly thought he was going to be a great ice skater, until he actually got into a rink in Atlanta, Georgia. A stranger then, Sherrell Ross Colbert, was taking a break on the side and captured his antics. It's been seen on social media more than 2.3 million times. Thompson was terrible at ice skating, but it is hilarious to watch him try to get his legs under him.
