Remnant moisture from the cold front that dissipated on the central islands yesterday is being pushed back our way by strengthening northeast winds.
Windward and mauka neighborhoods will see passing showers, especially this morning. Leeward areas will be mostly dry and mostly sunny.
Afternoon high in Honolulu will be 81 degrees.
We have waves on all shores, but nothing big. A new west-northwest swell will roll in tonight and peak tomorrow without triggering an advisory. A bigger northwest swell is forecast for Monday.
Today's waves will be 5-3 feet north, 3-5 feet east, 2-4 feet west and south.
No marine or weather advisories are posted.
