All lanes of Ala Wai Boulevard in Waikiki were reopened Friday morning after Board of Water Supply crews completed repairs to a broken water main.
The 12-inch water main, which broke around 8 p.m. Thursday, was located on Ala Wai Boulevard near Seaside Avenue.
Crews had to shut down two westbound lanes of Ala Wai Boulevard as well as Seaside Avenue at the Ala Wai Boulevard intersection.
Repairs to the broken water valve were completed around 3:30 a.m. Friday, and all lanes were reopened around 6:40 a.m.
