Eating House 1849 by Roy Yamaguchi at Kapolei Commons Celebrates Grand Opening

On April 26, 2017, “Eating House 1849” at Kapolei Commons, West Oahu’s premier shopping, dining, and entertainment destination will celebrate its Grand Opening benefiting Make-A-Wish Hawaii.

Chef Roy Yamaguchi and the team at “Eating House 1849” at Kapolei Commons is proud to partner with Make-A-Wish Hawaii for this special evening.

“I’ve always admired their endeavor to enrich the human experience by granting wishes for children with serious illnesses,” said Yamaguchi.  “It’s our hope to help spread the word about the important work they do and assist financially with the granting of wishes.”

The Grand Opening for “Eating House 1849” at Kapolei Commons will begin at 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.  All three of the “Eating House 1849” Executive Chefs will create unique dishes for guests to enjoy.  The “Eating House 1849” family is pleased to introduce Randy Bangloy from Kapolei Commons, Clinton Nuyda from The Shops at Kukui’ula on Koloa Kauai, and Mike Leslie from the International Market Place in Waikiki.  Specialty cocktails, beer, and wine will be served for the event and live local music will be featured.

Eating House 1849 pays homage to Hawaii’s vibrant culinary heritage when restaurants used only what was available from local farmers, foragers, and fishermen.  It’s here that we try to blend these two worlds - the easy ambience and simple flavors of an old plantation town with bold modern cuisine, to create memorable dining experiences.
