HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Only two airlines fly 2 million seats here a year, Hawaiian and United. Three more fly 1 million – Delta, American and Alaska. Japan Airlines is next with half a million. Far behind: Canada's Westjet, Korean Air, and Australia's Jetstar. Air Canada and Taiwan's China Air come in above 100,000 seats a year. ANA is just under, then Philippine Air, Korea's Asiana, China Eastern, Qantas, Air New Zealand and Air China.
Japan Airlines has the most international seats. Hawaiian is second with almost 400,000 international seats. Third, with 336,000, is Delta.
In fact, when you focus only on domestic seats, Delta lags Alaska.
