Parachuting history was made this week on Oahu's North Shore.
That's where 86-year-old Lew Sanborn fulfilled his goal of skydiving in all 50 states: Hawaii was the last stop.
Sanborn took the plunge earlier this week at Skydive Hawaii in Waialua, sporting a red flight suit.
He also set a record for having skydived for 68 straight years. Sanborn started jumping when he was in the Army in 1948.
Adding to his legendary status in the skydiving community -- he's the very first person to be licensed by U.S. Parachute Association.
