Hawaii native Clarissa Chun has been named assistant coach for the women’s national wrestling team, USA Wrestling announced Wednesday.
The Roosevelt High School graduate is a 2008 world champion and 2012 Olympic bronze medalist. She also placed fifth at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
She will replace Erin Vandiver, who will be head coach for the women’s team at Wyoming Seminary.
