Engine troubles forced a Honolulu-bound Hawaiian Airlines flight to turn around, and make an emergency landing Tuesday morning.
Hawaiian Airlines flight 43 from San Jose was scheduled to land in Honolulu at noon, but ran into trouble when the crew noticed a problem with the right engine.
The flight was diverted back to California, and landed about 40 minutes later in the Bay area.
Some 252 passengers and 11 crew members were on board, and no one was hurt.
No word on the exact cause of the engine troubles, but the plane is being inspected. Impacted passengers were accommodated on other flights.
