A man was been arrested for throwing glass bottles onto Kapiolani Boulevard from a nearby cemetery, according to witnesses near the scene of the incident.
Video taken Monday morning shows a man standing inside the Moiliili Japanese Cemetery on Kuilei Street, tossing what appear to be glass bottles over a fence and onto the roadway.
In the video, bottles can be heard crashing onto the roadway, and shattered glass litters the two right-hand lanes in the westbound direction.
The man tossed bottles onto the roadway for nearly 20 minutes, a witness said, noting that none of the bottles appeared to have directly struck any vehicles or people.
