The woman who died Thursday afternoon after falling 50 feet while on a Nuuanu hiking trail has been identified.
The Honolulu Medical Examiner identified the woman as 32-year-old Jennifer Allen of Honolulu.
Paramedics say she was hiking on the Luakaha Falls trail when she fell.
HFD personnel arrived on scene around at 12:47 p.m.
About ten minutes later, firefighters located Allen unconscious at the base of the falls. HFD says she did not have a pulse and was not breathing when she was found.
Rescuers recovered Allen and transporter her to the hospital where she later died.
Police are investigating this as an unattended death.
