Portions of Kapiolani Boulevard were reopened after a water main break temporarily shut down parts of the road.
The break and closure happened around 7:15 p.m.
Honolulu police shut down all eastbound lanes on Kapiolani Boulevard at Isenberg Street.
Roads reopened around 9:30 p.m.
The Board of Water Supply said the only affected water user is the irrigation system for a nearby condo. Repairs to the water main will be scheduled for a later time to minimize impact to traffic.
