Tricked out lemonade stands filled the grounds of Pearlridge Center Saturday as keiki learned valuable skills of operating a business.
Kids spent weeks preparing for the the 7th annual Lemonade Alley event. Teams created lemonade recipes, and designed lemonade stands while competing for sales. One stand was even decked out in a beach, lifeguard theme.
The teams sold lemonade to raise funds for local non-profits. There were three different age groups competing.
In 2016, Lemonade Alley teams donated over $15,000 to non-profit organizations.
As a part of the event, the teams pitched their business models on-stage to judges and the public.
