The Department of Health Clean Water Branch announced Saturday that bacteria levels at two beaches were back to normal after elevated levels of the enterococci bacteria were found.
Magic Sands beach in Kona and Kahaluu Beach Park on Oahu are once again safe to swim at after tests found that bacteria levels were back to normal.
Earlier in the week, officials said levels of the enterococci bacteria at Magic Sands in were about twice the acceptable limits.
Swimming at beaches with elevated bacteria levels can make you ill.
