Forecast: Trade winds continue to strengthen

Light winds this morning, then strengthening trade winds this afternoon/evening. At their peak, the trades will be 15-20 mph today and even stronger tomorrow.

Skies will be partly to mostly sunny. Very few showers.

High in Honolulu will be 84 degrees.

Surf continues to be small to moderate in size. Next big country swell will be Tuesday night and Wednesday.

Today's waves will be 4-6 feet north, 2-4 feet east and west, less than 3 feet south.

Small Craft Advisory effective 6 p.m. for Maalaea Bay, the Pailolo and Alenuihaha channels, along with coastal waters south and west of the Big Island.
