The trade winds will strengthen a bit today and then stay with us through the work week. The trades will be 10-20 mph by this afternoon.

Showers are a little more frequent on Oahu this morning, dampening roadways. Drive with caution.

Windward and mauka areas will be mostly cloudy most of the day. Leeward or town beaches will be your best bet for blue sky and sunshine.

High today in Honolulu will be 84 degrees.

Surf is small to moderate today and we won't see much change until next Tuesday. That's when a northwest swell is expected to bring country shorelines to advisory levels.

Waves today will be 4-7 feet north, 2-4 feet east and west, 0-3 feet south.

A Wind Advisory is up for the Big Island Summits through Thursday morning. Winds at higher elevations will be 45-55 mph. No other advisories, watches, or warnings are posted.
