Central Pacific names Joel Navarro senior commercial banking officer for West Maui. Navarro previously worked for Title Guaranty.

Crazy Shirts donates $50,000 to Pacific Historic Parks. The money was raised from the Pearl Harbor 75th commemoration designs. Crazy Shirts has 300 employees and has been a Hawaii retailer since 1964.

That Congressional bill to let Internet service providers sell your browsing history? Hawaiian Telcom says it never has and never will. That's worth pointing out because the telecoms giants DO intend to.

Bank Rate this week ranked the states on suitability for seniors. We came in at 36 despite being first on well-being. Mostly it was cost of living. But we were 17th for weather. Do 16 states have better weather?
