HONOLULU, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts is hosting their first job fair in three years at the Sheraton Waikiki.
Job openings are available in 16 various categories. Employers are looking to fill about 80 different types of positions around Kyo-ya owned hotels. Those wishing to work in hospitality and are eager with aloha spirit are highly recommended to attend.
Kyo-ya owned properties are searching for new employees at the following locations:
The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort
A Westin Resort & Spa
Sheraton Princess Kaiulani
“If you think that the opportunity in working in hospitality is exciting then we want you, we believe that you all belong here to work with us,” Trevor Bracher Director of Human Resources of Sheraton Waikiki said.
Experience in hospitality is appreciated, but employers are more interested in applicants with a passion to learn.
"Whether you have the skill and ability, that’s secondary. If you have the attitude then we will train you. We will provide those great opportunities for you, for your friends, your family. Have them all come down,” Bracher said.
The two-day career fair will be held on Friday and Saturday in the Sheraton Waikiki ballroom on the 2nd floor from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
