HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Who's it gonna be? Ryan Higa, that's who.

The YouTube star and former Hawaii Island resident is known for making viral videos that garner millions of views, but his most recent project has landed him in unfamiliar territory – at the top of the iTunes K-pop charts.

Higa and a group of friends – "BgA" – recently took to YouTube to post a video for the original song Who's It Gonna Be, a Korean pop parody in which the band members try to determine who the leader of the group will be.

"The next JT! The next Queen B!" read the translations of the song.

Already with more than 6 million YouTube views, the video recently rose all the way to #1 on the iTunes K-pop charts.

It's the second single from "BgA" – "Boys Generally Asian" – to hit the charts. Their first song currently sits at #11 on the rankings.
