Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts raises $176K for Aloha United Way

WAIKIKI (HawaiiNewsNow) - HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -- Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts hit a new record in its fundraising for Aloha United Way.

On Wednesday, employees from four Kyo-ya properties (Sheraton Waikiki, The Royal Hawaiian, Moana Surfrider and Sheraton Princess Kaiulani) presented a check for more than $176,000 to the Aloha United Way on the ocean lawn of The Royal Hawaiian.

The Kyo-ya hotels are a part of Aloha United Way's top community supporters and raised funds through associate and hotel donations.

The total raised shattered last year's estimated $150,000 total.
