Forecast: Light winds could mean scattered showers

Lighter winds are taking over for Kauai and Oahu, steady tradewinds will continue for Maui and the Big Island. Those light winds will help develop afternoon showers, while windward showers will continue at times with light to moderate rainfall totals. Brisk tradewinds will takeover the state over the weekend.

A solid reinforcement is hitting north and west shores, another warning level swell is due in Thursday night, peaking Friday with life threatening conditions. A long-period South will hold through Friday.

No marine or weather advisories are posted.
