A somewhat breezy and beautiful Tuesday is unfolding.
Trade winds already in the double digits in many neighborhoods. At their peak this afternoon they will blow at 15-20 mph.
High in Honolulu will be a sunny 85 degrees. Not much in the way of showers, just a few clouds stacking against the Koolau over windward and mauka neighborhoods.
Surf is moderate in size today with a reinforcing WNW expected. Huge waves are forecast for the north and west shores Saturday night and Sunday.
Wave sizes today will be 6-9 feet north, 3-5 feet west, 1-3 feet east and south.
Small Craft Advisory for the Pailolo and Alenuihaha channels along with coastal waters south and west of the Big Island.
