Fairly dry trade wind weather is expected Sunday and for much of the rest of the week. High pressure will remain to the north of the Aloha State keeping moderate winds over the islands, with any showers mainly windward and mauka at night and in the morning. In short, typical trade wind weather.

High Surf Advisory is posted for rough surf on east-facing shores thanks to a combination of a north-northeast swell and moderate trade winds. A Small Craft Advisory is also posted for the Pailolo and Alenuihaha Channels and Maalaea Bay. A west-northwest swell is expected to peak Sunday and could reach advisory levels. A second, smaller west-northwest swell is forecast Tuesday night and peak Wednesday.
