A man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery in on king Street, Thursday.
Malcom Hirakawa, 52, has been charged for allegedly holding up the Japanese restaurant Gyotaku on South King Street.
Police say Hirakawa entered the restaurant and threatened employees with a firearm before fleeing with the cash register.
Hirakawa was arrested about an hour later. His bail is set at $100,000.
