Hawaii's only all-girl orchestra is returning from an national competition in Anaheim with some serious hardware.
The Priory Chamber Strings Orchestra won three awards at the Anaheim Heritage Music Festival at Fullerton College over the weekend.
The group earned the highest score in the competition, winning the Outstanding Orchestra Award. They also won first place in the String Orchestra category, and Adjudicator's Award for scoring at least a 92 out of 100 point average.
The group beat 22 orchestras from all over the nation. They were the only group from Hawaii.
During the trip, the orchestra also had the opportunity to perform a Disney medley at Disneyland.
