HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A major development on the local restaurant scene: Paul Kosasa of ABC Stores is entering the restaurant business. He's developing Duke's Lane & Eatery on the ground floor of the new Hyatt Centric hotel, what used to be the Waikiki Trade Center. Restaurant options will be open there in June.

Servco opens its new dealership in Lihue, consolidating three previous properties and creating seven new jobs. It's next to Costco in back of Kukui Grove.

New at Ka Makana Alii – Ultimate Foot Store – and opening at the end of the week, Hollister.

The Mauna Kea observatories award more telescope viewing time to local students. Six students at Waiakea High School will get viewing time – to pursue projects chosen by professional astronomers.
