A woman was arrested Sunday evening after an alleged hit-and-run crash in Nanakuli, Honolulu police said.
The incident started around 3 p.m at the Hele Gas Station off Farrington Highway.
Police said 21-year-old Paresse Kahili Lai drove her vehicle toward a man and a woman after getting into an argument with them.
Lai allegedly hit another woman who was in a separate car and then drove off.
"I saw everyone run out of the store trying to help the family get the car off of this lady because she was pinned, her ankle was pinned," said a witness who preferred to remain anonymous.
A 73-year-old and 28-year-old woman were taken to the hospital in stable condition but have since been released.About three hours later, Lai turned herself in at the Waianae Police Station. She faces several charges, including two counts of second-degree assault.
