Uber, the popular ride-sharing app that allows users to arrange trips using their smartphone, will launch on the Garden Isle this weekend.
The company announced the decision on their website Monday morning.
"We believe transportation should be as reliable as running water, which is why we’re happy to announce that Uber is coming to Kauai," read a portion of the statement.
The service is already available on Oahu, Maui and Hawaii Island.
The company is offering new users a free ride worth up to $20 using the promo code RIDEKAUAI.
