Happy Aloha Friday and Girls Day.  On this beautiful day in Hawaii Nei, we are tracking blue skies to kick off the day and then with the humid air mass and after daytime heating there may be a few pop up showers during the afternoon.  Periods of haze is possible due to the vog and south winds.

Temperatures will be rising to the low 80s and some close to the mid-80s, so a warm one on tap for us today (feeling even warmer with the muggy weather).

We are also tracking a cold front from the west.  Expect for it to bring increase clouds and showers over the western half of the island chain this weekend (for Kauai and Oahu) before dissipating by early next week.

We are also tracking muggy and hazy conditions along with periods of showery weather (at times heavy) that are expected to impact the entire state next week.

Surf will be small through Saturday, although a somewhat unusual, but small wind swell will affect south facing shores. A west northwest swell arriving late Saturday will likely lead to advisory-level surf along exposed north and west facing shores.
