At least seven homes were without water Thursday afternoon following a 12-inch water main broke in the Ewa Beach area, according to the Honolulu Board of Water Supply.
The break was first reported just before 4 p.m.
Authorities say repairs on the pipe will likely continue through Friday. Roads in the vicinity of the break have been closed.
A spokesperson with the Honolulu Fire Department says at least one home, and possibly a second, had been flooded by the break.
