Crews investigating possible gas leak in Kapahulu

KAPAHULU, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Crews are blocking Hollinger Street in Kapahulu on Thursday morning while they investigate a possible gas leak.

Eric Capllonch, of the Honolulu Fire Department, said firefighters responded a call of a gas leak at around 7:20 a.m. Upon arrival, crews smelled an odor of gas.

Hawaii Gas also showed up on scene where a representative was trying to pinpoint the exact location of the smell.

No evacuations have been ordered.

Hollinger Street is blocked off from Kanaina Avenue to Leahi Avenue.
