NUUANU, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - All lanes of School Street have been reopened after Board of Water Supply crews completed repairs to a broken 24-inch water main.
The lanes were closed between Pali Highway and Nuuanu Avenue after the water main broke at around midnight Sunday.
Customers in the lower Nuuanu and Pauoa area were initially affected. However, BWS said water service is being restored to those customers. Officials say there are no customers directly affected by the transmission line.
The water main was repaired around 6:20 a.m. Tuesday and all lanes were reopened by 11 a.m.
