The Hawaiian Word of the Day is Kumulipo.

Over 2,000 lines long, the kumulipo is divided into 16 different eras. 8 eras in the darkness and 8 in the light.
This creation chant tells of the origins of life from the very beginning.
Starting with the coral polups and eventually leading to the birth of the first gods and later, humans.
