All lanes of Pali Hwy. reopened after downed tree removed

NUUANU, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police have reopened all Kailua-bound lanes of the Pali Highway in Nuuanu after removing a downed tree that was blocking the road for hours during the Tuesday morning commute.

Police said the tree fell before 3:45 a.m., forcing officers to close the Pali Highway.

Traffic was at a near standstill for hours until officers reopened the lanes at around 9:30 a.m.
