Maui police are searching the driver responsible for a hit-and-run that left a 16-year-old pedestrian dead.
The victim was identified as Hannah Simmons, police said.
Maui police said the driver was making a left turn onto Piilani Highway about 9 p.m. when the vehicle hit Simmons, who was in a marked crosswalk.
The victim was taken in critical condition to the Maui Memorial Medical Center, where she died.
Police say the vehicle involved is possibly a blue Dodge or Chevy pick-up truck with an after-market lift and tires.
Meanwhile, Maui police are still trying to catch the driver who stuck and killed 30-year-old Destiny Delima as she was walking on the shoulder of Pulehu Road near Hookele Street in Kahului on Friday.
They are looking for a white 1995 to 2001 model Ford Explorer wtih front-end damage.
