Liti Tausa and Trisha Ramelb are Student-Chairs for the Center for Tomorrow’s Leader. They're attending a conference with hundreds of youth leaders at the Hawaii Convention Center.

The vision of the Emerge conference is to inspire Hawaii’s future leaders from high schools across the State to embrace their role as leaders and to dream about the future of Hawaii together. The theme is Beyond the Horizon: A Vision For Yourself and Hawaii.

Speakers include navigators from the Hokulea Worldwide Voyage, former Governor George Ariyoshi, and other leaders from a wide range of sectors. That includes Steve Uyehara, the Sunrise news anchor.

The conference will bring together over 600 high schoolers from over 30 public and private high schools across the state.  From Honoka’a to Hanalani, from Lanai to Leilehua.

The event will be held on November 15 from 7:30 – 3:00 at the Hawaii Convention Center.
