Albany, New York (HawaiiNewsNow) - A woman accused of murdering her twin sister when their vehicle plunged off a Maui Cliff back in May is now in police custody in Albany, New York.
Sources say officers pulled up to check on a residence and saw Alexandria Duval get out of a car and try to run into a house.
Maui police officers originally arrested the 37-year-old in June for the crash near Hana that killed her sister, Anastasia.
Prosecutors said the two were fighting before their SUV veered off a 200 foot cliff.
A judge dismissed the murder charge earlier this year, citing insufficient amount of evidence.
Less than two weeks ago, a Maui grand jury found enough evidence to indict her for second-degree murder.
Duval's bail is set at $3 million and faces extradition proceedings.
