HILO, HAWAII (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Grand Naniloa Hotel on Hilo Bay is showing off its $30 million renovation.

Developer Ed Busher and the artist Wyland bought the bankrupt hotel three years ago for just over $5 million.

Starting Thursday, Aqua Hospitality will manage the property under the Double-Tree By Hilton brand.

Hawaii photographer Kim Taylor Reece's art will be displayed in the 320 guest rooms and common areas.
