Travel editor creates new travel-themed publication 'Wake and Wander Hawaii'

Interview: Wake and Wander Hawaii Editor Will McGough

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Joining us is former Conde Naste Editor Will McGough.  He's the publisher and editor of a new travel themed publication called "Wake and Wander Hawaii."

We're going to ask Will McGough about what kind of a publication this is...we hear it is a publication for local people to find local places.

The second issue hits the newsstands today, with a cover story on the coldest day in Hawaii - a journey to the top of Mauna Loa, the world's largest volcano. We have so many amazing stories right in these islands related to adventure, culture, cuisine and drinks; and a monthly column from Kainoa Horcajo, a cultural ambassador on Maui.

Wake and Wander is available for free in newsstands across Oahu - primarily in Downtown Honolulu and Kailua. It's geared to both locals and visitors to Hawaii. A full list of locations, and how to subscribe, is online at wakeandwanderhawaii.com
