Forecast: Variable winds to persist through weekend

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Variable winds will persist through the weekend. Humidity levels will be elevated, although rainfall will be minimal. Morning sunshine will give way to afternoon clouds with isolated showers, mainly over interior spots.

Another warning level swell is heading for north and west shores, due in Thursday afternoon, another large swell is due Sunday. 

A High Surf Advisory will be in effect for north shores of Kauai, Niihau, Oahu, Maui, Big Island starting Thursday morning.

A Small Craft Advisory is up for Oahu, Maui County, and Big Island windward waters, along with the Kaiwi and Alenuihaha channels.
