Maui police asking for public’s assistance in locating missing man

The Maui Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 59-year-old George William Snipes.

Snipes, who goes by the name Bill, was reported missing on Thursday, November 3 at approximately 11 a.m.

Snipes is described as 6'1" tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say Snipes may be operating his silver Toyota Tacoma 4-door pick-up truck with Hawaii state license plate number MMT 966.

The pick-up truck has a large, black fishhook sticker in the center of the rear tailgate and a Kamehameha Schools sticker on the rear window.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Snipes or his vehicle is asked to call the Maui Police Department at 244-6400 or 911.
