Police investigation snarls westbound traffic during afternoon commute

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Two right westbound lanes on the Moanalua Freeway near Fort Shafter and multiple on- and off-ramps were closed for hours Friday for a police investigation.

Police responded to the scene following the discovery of a body on the back of a privately-owned dump truck.

Paramedics said the victim is a man in his 30s. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The case is currently classified as an unattended dead.
