Restaurant Week: Eating House

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Restaurant Week is fast approaching and to help us build up an appetite, two executive chefs from the Eating House stopped by Sunrise.

The Eating House now has two more locations on Oahu; one at the International Marketplace and another one at the Kapolei Commons.

Chefs Michael Lesley and Randy Bangloy made a Portuguese sweet crusted salmon with warm potato salad, which is being offered at the Eating House as an entree.

The duo crusted a king salmon with Portuguese sweet bread, some fresh herbs, parsley. The potatoes were poached with saffron before being roasted in garlic oil.

The chefs are also big on using local ingredients, as well as making its dishes affordable.

Restaurant Week begins on Nov. 14 and runs through Nov. 20.

The event centers of showcasing Hawaii's restaurants and supporting the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Diamond Head.
