Restaurant Week encourages patrons to seek out various flavors

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Restaurant Week Hawaii kicks off in two weeks, and in anticipation of the culinary masterpieces and gastronomic wonders that await us, the executive chef and the general manager of Arancino at the Kahala Alessandro Bolla spoke with Steve Uyehara on Sunrise.

Restaurant Week Hawaii supports the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Diamond Head, as well as other local restaurants across the state.

During the celebration week, which runs from Nov. 14 through the 20th, everyone is encouraged to dine out a different restaurants for an entire week.

While on the show, executive chef Daisuke Hamamoto demonstrated how he makes a risotto incorporated with parmigiano reggiano cheese. Needless to say, it was quite good.
