HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Good news, Halloween revelers: The state is postponing rail project work this weekend.
The state had planned overnight lane closures from Friday through Sunday on the H-1 Freeway and Kamehameha Highway.
The work is now pushed out to the work week.
The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation agreed to adjust the closures to mitigate traffic from the University of Hawaii football game, the Oahu Interscholastic Association championship football games, and other Halloween weekend activities.
