HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Gusty tradewinds will pick up speed Friday, and the breezy conditions will continue through the weekend.
Instability aloft will develop on Friday and enhance/expand the mainly windward and mauka showers until the first of next week. Spotty downpours are possible through Monday.
Surf is dropping out in the country, building along east shores. Here's the NWS surf forecast for today: North 3-5 feet, West 1-3 feet, East 4-6 feet, South 1-3 feet.
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for all Hawaii waters from 6 p.m. Thursday to 6 p.m. Saturday.
